HEF Program Activities: Go for the Goal

This middle school leadership program with current chapters at Elko, Fairfield, and John Rolfe has expanded to include sponsoring activities at the two feeder high schools, Highland Springs and Varina.

Mission

To create a leadership program for students and their parents to expose, explore, encourage and think beyond middle and high school in order to prepare for the future. A variety of enriching opportunities, complemented by specific expectations, define the program objectives.

All GFG chapter activities reflect these themes:

Communication and public speaking
Personal management skills
Team building
Service to others

Activities

This year’s 8th grade program will focus on the theme of leadership and will include a trip to the White House and the American History museum in Washington, DC.
