Mission and Goals
The Henrico Education Foundation, Inc., in partnership with Henrico County Public Schools, supports public education in the creation of innovative educational opportunities, recognition of outstanding achievements and promotion of excellence for all students, teachers and staff.
In the pursuit of our mission, the Henrico Education Foundation commits to supporting the creation and development of programs that impact five areas:
- Recognizes the accomplishments of its students, teachers, and staff.
- Supports the needs of its teachers and students.
- Provides a K-12 grants program to support initiatives, which extend curricula, include innovative practices, create extended student-learning opportunities and provide outcomes to guide future projects.
- Develops specific business and community partnerships in support of schools.
- Develops information and communication strategies that lead to a more thorough understanding of the importance of public education.
Henrico County Public Schools is a nationally recognized system providing quality-learning experience for its students. The Foundation strives to link educators and students with financial resources in order to bring the school division to an even higher level of excellence.
