From the President of the Henrico Education Foundation
The HEF is pleased to present our new and improved website. We are fortunate to have volunteer talent who have provided this website with a wealth of information, PDF formatted documents and readily available information concerning the growth of Foundation programs. Please take a few minutes to review the contents of each page and become informed and involved about our work.
On behalf of the Foundation Board, thank you, our supporters, for helping us make a difference in the quality of education our children receive. We are excited about HEF plans for future impact of our public schools, and we anticipate greater growth than we've seen since our incorporation in 1997. Check our website often and learn of the opportunities that are becoming a reality for students, teachers and staff.
It gives me a great deal of pleasure to welcome Paula Roop to the Henrico Education Foundation staff. Paula joins us as a Program Manager and will oversee all scholarship, grant and programs initiatives for the Foundation. She brings with her a reputation as a strong communicator, a master teacher, and an advocate for Henrico County Public Schools.
In its recent strategic planning, the Foundation realized that its efforts must be expanded to insure that Henrico County Public Schools continues to be a positive influence on our community. The addition of Paula to the staff reflects the strong commitment of the Board of Directors to increase the Foundation’s impact on the school system, thus partnering to meet the challenges of the 21st century for HCPS.
